Clone Force 99 – informally known as The Bad Batch – is a team of enhanced Clone Troopers, which first appeared towards the end of the Clone Wars animated series. The team earned a spinoff series on Disney+ in 2021, with a second season set to debut in January 2023.
This set depicts the Marauder – a modified shuttle that the Bad Batch uses for transport. It offers a sand blue colour scheme and adjustable wings, which can be folded up or down for landing or flight. Two spring-loaded shooters are positioned underneath the shuttle, and the top of it can be opened to insert minifigures in the cockpit and crew compartment. The latter section comes with a small storage area for accessories.
In addition to this shuttle, a pair of speeder bikes is included in this set – one green, one grey. The green one is designed for civilian use, while the grey one is designed for use by Clone Troopers instead. Two stud shooters are mounted on the front of this one for defence.

Five minifigures can be found in this set – Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Echo and Crosshair – alongside a brick-built gonk droid. The minifigures all boast extensive printing, as well as unique helmet and armour elements. Each one also comes with various weapons to defend themselves with.
In short, this set offers impressive value for LEGO Star Wars fans – particularly at this new price point. The set is also scheduled to retire by the end of this year, so we recommend picking it up now if you’re interested in it.
