The LEGO Group's annual collection of Lunar New Year sets is steering away from its origins in 2026, and the smallest set might just be the best.
The annual range of LEGO Lunar New Year models is back early next year with three new releases, ringing in a new year with horses, a firecracker and a cute figure. We've taken a closer look at all three of the sets and their unique functionality in our latest YouTube video.
Each model has a different play feature, two of which are like few other existing sets in the portfolio. Both are best showcased in a video format, and you'll want to see the galloping functionality of 80119 Galloping Horses Canvas for yourself. Tune in to our new YouTube video now to find out everything you need to know about these releases.
Minifigures are still included across two of the three sets, 80118 Fortune Firecracker and 80119 Galloping Horses Canvas, but they are more of an afterthought this time instead of being properly integrated into the builds like in years past. This follows 2025's
The main model in each of the two larger builds is undoubtedly beautiful to look at, and the minifigures themselves are good, continuing the same family's story with our latest animal costume figure on the side.
