The latest batch of LEGO Star Wars reveals unites the Rebels crew a decade after their original appearance, but at a much greater cost.
The Mandalorian and Grogu LEGO Star Wars sets have been officially revealed, including
This consequently means that it's now possible to make a full Star Wars Rebels crew based on their later appearances in the narrative. It is, as you might expect, much more expensive to do so in recent years than it was in 2014 and 2015. There will be spoilers for Star Wars Rebels in this report.
2014 and 2015
Back when the original slate of Star Wars Rebels LEGO sets was released, you only needed to pick up three models to form the full crew. This includes 75053 The Ghost for around £99.99 / $124.99 / €134.99 adjusted for inflation, featuring Hera, Kanan and Zeb. You'd also need 75048 The Phantom for around £29.99 / $34.99 / €39.99 adjusted for inflation, with Ezra and Chopper. Sabine only appears in 75090 Ezra's Speeder Bike for around £29.99 / $29.99 / €34.99.
These three sets would cost about £159.97 / $189.97 / €209.97 if they were released today, and you would receive all five members of the Rebels crew as they were in 2014. Despite there being one fewer member to pick up today, you'd need one more model.
2023, 2024 and 2026
Following Kanan's death at the end of Star Wars Rebels, the crew have started to reunite across various Star Wars series. It is therefore now possible to complete the crew as they appear later down the timeline using LEGO Star Wars sets. There are four models needed for this, starting with 75357 Ghost & Phantom II for £159.99 / $169.99 / €179.99, adjusted for inflation. This build includes Hera and Chopper from the original crew.
Sabine remains exclusive to a single set, this time being 75362 Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Jedi Shuttle for approximately £69.99 / €84.99 / €79.99 when adjusted for inflation. Also from Ahsoka, you'll need Ezra in 75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea for £49.99 / $54.99 / €54.99. Zeb was the only minifigure missing, now featured in the upcoming
When combined, these sets and the five characters across them would cost you £419.96 / $459.96 / €464.96. That's a considerable increase in cost to getting all five members of the crew as they appear later down the timeline, even with one fewer minifigure to collect.
This is partially thanks to when the characters returned. Hera, Chopper and Sabine appeared early enough in Ahsoka Season 1 to be included in the first wave of sets. Ezra was saved for later in the season, meaning his minifigure was saved for a 2024 model to avoid spoiling the surprise. Zeb returned in The Mandalorian Season 3, but his minifigure is only now appearing in The Mandalorian and Grogu movie set wave.
Either way, the characters' various returns have been split up, causing an increase in the number of sets needed to collect them all. For those who missed out on the 2014 and 2015 sets, the Ahsoka sets are now retired, but you can at least find Zeb on shelves as part of
