Enormous LEGO Technic motorbike rumoured for 2025

The latest rumours offer more details on a previously anonymous LEGO Technic set for 2025, suggesting that an enormous motorbike is on its way.

The often-reliable fateful_04 has reported the set name for 42202 Ducati Motorcycle, suggesting that we might expect a truly massive motorcycle in January 2025. Originally thought to cost $189.99, fateful_04 also now reports that it will cost $199.99 and confirms the first reports of 1,603 pieces.

That puts 42202 Ducati Motorcycle at a similar scale to 42159 Yamaha MT-10 SP, another LEGO Technic motorbike that's currently for sale. This rumoured set known only as 42202 Ducati Motorcycle, which doesn't narrow down exactly which bike will be recreated in LEGO bricks, with Ducati having various different models.

However, Ducati is best known for high-performance motorcycles with trellis frames and large-capacity four-stroke, 90° V-twin engines, which could offer some indication of what we should expect. 42159 Yamaha MT-10 S also comes with a display stand and information plaque and, seeing as the price and piece count is similar, we might expect something of the same.

Of course, that's all speculation for now. We won't know for sure what's coming until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group. Until then, here's a reminder of every LEGO Technic set already confirmed or rumoured for next year.
