Every LEGO Star Wars Jabba’s Sail Barge revealed to date

The arrival of 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge next month will be the largest and latest version of the LEGO Star Wars craft revealed so far.

The LEGO Group yesterday finally revealed full details of the upcoming 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge, a massive UCS model that can be constructed from a whopping 3,942 pieces. Priced at £429.99 / $499.99 / €499.99, the LEGO Star Wars build will be available to Insiders members first from October 3, with a wider release for all from October 6.

Also known as the Khetanna, 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge represents not only the largest version of the Hutt’s desert ride released to date, but it’s also the latest brick-built iteration of the iconic vehicle, with the first offering having launched back in 2006.

With that in mind, here’s the full line-up of every LEGO Star Wars Jabba’s Sail Barge revealed to date by piece count, from the smallest model right up to next month’s gigantic UCS build.

5 – Jabba’s Sail Barge – 12 pieces

This tiny take on the crime lord’s craft was hidden behind the very first day of 2015’s LEGO Star Wars advent calendar. Comprised of just 12 pieces, the diminutive build still managed to represent a faithful (albeit scaled) take on Jabba’s Sail Barge, complete with brown hull and distinctive orange sails.

4 – Jabba’s Sail Barge – 17 pieces

2024’s LEGO 75395 Star Wars Advent Calendar also includes a small Jabba’s Sail Barge model, although we won’t spoil the surprise as to exactly which day’s door it’s hiding behind. The miniature Khetanna consists of 17 pieces, allowing for slightly more detail, with brown elements representing the sails this time around.

3 – 6210 Jabba’s Sail Barge – 747 pieces

The first-ever large-scale version of Jabba’s Sail Barge arrived in 2006, complete with a single colour bigfig of the vile Hutt himself. Containing 747 pieces, 6210 Jabba’s Sail Barge featured a build that was fully compatible with its included minifigure selection and even came with separate Desert Skiff and Sarlacc Pit models to complete the scene.

2 – 75020 Jabba’s Sail Barge – 825 pieces

Until yesterday’s reveal, 2013’s 75020 Jabba’s Sail Barge was the largest version of the craft we’d received to date. The 825-piece count allowed for more detail throughout, resulting in a much-improved Jabba the Hutt bigfig, the last Slave Outfit Princess Leia figure we’d get until more than a decade later and the only Ree-Yees minifigure ever created.

1 – 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge – 3,942 pieces

Topping out this list with 3,942 pieces is next month’s latest UCS model, 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge, which measures over 77cm in length. Those extra elements certainly appear to make a big difference, with side opening panels revealing detailed interior sections, the return of textile sails, an updated Jabba the Hutt bigfig and eight minifigures, plus R2-D2 and Salacious Crumb figures.

LEGO Insiders members will be able to secure their copy of 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge from October 3 (complete with 40730 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber GWP), while everyone else will have to hold on until October 6 to pick up the model. The LEGO Star Wars set is priced at £429.99 in the UK, $499.99 in the US and €499.99 in Europe.
