An early review paints a positive picture of the upcoming LEGO Disney 43225 The Little Mermaid Royal Clamshell.
Now that we're just days away from the release date of LEGO Disney 43225 The Little Mermaid Royal Clamshell, reviews are starting to populate online. LEGO YouTuber DuckBricks had got his hands on the set inspired by the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid and had plenty to enthuse about the colourful 18+ model.
"The main play feature of the model is the building experience," observed DuckBricks. "And I will say, the building experience of this is really strong...This was probably one of my favourite builds in recent memory – and I don't say that lightly."
The LEGO YouTuber goes on highlight how the internal construction and unique angles make for an engaging build process. Each section has its own theme and colour scheme, making it feel almost like several smaller builds that come together at the end.
As well as the build process, DuckBricks liked the use of the LEGO VIDIYO tail element for the mermaids, as well as the unique inclusion of Ursula, repurposing Joker hair for a dramatic appearance. Giving the set an overwhelmingly positive review, it's looking promising for LEGO Disney fans if you liked the look of the first pictures and descriptions of the 1,808-piece set.
