An official LEGO Instagram account has shared a first look at this year’s LEGO Harry Potter direct-to-consumer set, 76437 The Burrow.
A LEGO Certified Store in Chile published an image of artwork for the upcoming Back to Hogwarts event, and within that is a sneak peek at this year’s supersized Burrow, which Ashnflash reports will be numbered 76437. The image was presumably shared in error given the set has not yet been officially revealed by the LEGO Group, but it’s still live at the time of writing.
76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition (as it will likely be called, following the format established by 76391 Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition and followed by
That playset came in at 1,047 pieces for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99, while 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition will apparently include 2,405 pieces for $249.99 and release on September 1 (again according to Ashnflash). While it’s hard to make out many specific characters from the relatively small image, it does appear to include at least Harry, Ron, Molly and Ginny Weasley, and the YouTuber says it will come with 10 minifigures in total.
It’s likely that the increased part count here will allow for a fully-enclosed Burrow, setting it apart from the previous two playsets (which were open-backed dollhouses). The 18+ set also adopts a more muted colour scheme than its more junior contemporaries, but should still offer a similarly interesting building experience given all of the Burrow’s unusual proportions.
We’ll hopefully find out more about 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition soon. For now, take those details surrounding its price, piece count and release date lightly.
