Free LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts make and take starts today

Those in the UK and Europe can pick up a free LEGO Harry Potter model from today, thanks to a special Back to Hogwarts make and take event.

Back to Hogwarts 2024 officially kicks off tomorrow, complete with plenty of magical LEGO treats. For starters, there’s the highly-anticipated release of 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition for Insiders (with a wider launch on September 4), three GWPs, designer signings and more.

In advance of this year’s Back to Hogwarts event, LEGO Stores will be giving away a special LEGO Harry Potter make and take model starting today. Visitors on specific dates can pick up a free miniature Hogwarts Express build in person, kicking off in the UK and some European locations from August 31 to September 1, while the US and Canada get the same event on September 8.

The LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Express make and take will be available on a first come first serve basis on each day (while stock last), with the model limited to one per person. Note that times and dates for the build do vary from region to region, so you’re best to check with your local LEGO Store in advance.

Of course, if you wait until September 1 you’ll also be able to pick up multiple new LEGO sets, including 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition, and grab up to three LEGO Harry Potter GWPs.
