How well are the LEGO BrickLink Series 7 sets selling?

We can now see just how well each of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 sets is selling, but differently from previous rounds.

The LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 has started accepting pre-orders as part of its crowdfunding stage, giving you one week to secure these limited-edition models for shipping in July.

By inspecting the publicly-accessible source code for each listing, we can see how well each of the Series 7 sets is doing. We can't see how many copies of each set will be made, including when those numbers fluctuate, though. This was possible in previous series, but the layout of the source code has been updated with different information.

Now, there's a 'dPercentagePreordered' section, indicating the total percentage of builds pre-ordered so far, likely relative to the maximum number of copies that can be produced. This will have started at 30,000 copies, as is standard for every BrickLink Designer Program set, but this total can change as crowdfunding continues based on demand.

Here's a look at how the Series 7 models are doing so far, based on their percentage pre-ordered totals.

910062 Alchemist's Shop£179.99 / $199.99 / €199.992,319Shram62%
910063 W.A.L.T.£34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99654Leewan33%

As you might have expected, 910059 Privateer Frigate Fortuna is leading the pack with 67% pre-ordered after just four hours of crowdfunding. The massive sailing ship is also the most expensive set in the series, but the demand for more Pirates-adjacent builds shows no sign of stopping.

910060 Sushi Restaurant is next up at 66% pre-ordered at the time of writing. We had the chance to take a closer look at this set earlier this month, showering it with praise for how good it looks individually, as well as how it compares to official modular buildings.

The sequel to 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, 910062 Alchemist's Shop, has 62% of pre-orders fulfilled. It's the only Castle-adjacent build in this series – a category that has always proved to be popular in the BrickLink Designer Program. Those planning on picking it up will want to know that there's a third set in this new group in Series 9 in the form of an inn. This will likely be your only chance to pick up the second model in the range, though.

910063 W.A.L.T. and 910061 Antique Collection are falling behind compared to the rest of the models at just 33% and 28%, respectively. 910063 W.A.L.T. being in the lead out of the two makes sense for how affordable the build is at £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99 and that it's limited-edition. The ultimately niche nature of 910061 Antique Collection may have limited its appeal, despite the fact that it includes several rare, unprinted pieces.

The five LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 7 sets are all up for pre-order now until February 23.
