The last time we saw the rumoured LEGO Star Wars 2027 sets

The rumoured slate of LEGO Star Wars sets for January 2027 includes quite a few familiar subjects, with only one completely new addition in the entire wave.

It's the summer, and that means the first LEGO rumours for 2027 are starting to surface. Earlier today, that included the first word of Star Wars' January 2027 wave. Names and prices have been rumoured so far, giving us an idea of what to potentially expect early next year.

Some of these names should be familiar, as we've had LEGO Star Wars sets for most of them before. It's only 75482 Up-Scaled Pilot Luke Minifigure that would be genuinely new, based on the assumption that it's an up-scaled minifigure.

The rest of the rumoured wave is all too familiar, and here's when we last saw similar sets in LEGO Star Wars.

75463 X-wing Microfighter

75464 Anakin’s Starfighter

The classic yellow Delta-7B from The Clone Wars, not to be confused with the Jedi Interceptor, has been recreated nine times in LEGO Star Wars' history, and there's rumoured to be a 10th in 2027.

The last set of Anakin's original starfighter would be 2018's 75214 Anakin's Jedi Starfighter, but the last model of this starfighter in any colour (and size) would be 75400 Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter Microfighter.

75466 Darth Vader Art

Believe it or not, the rumoured 75466 Darth Vader Art isn't entirely new for LEGO Star Wars. Well, such a set would be for the theme, but the partnership has seen a Darth Vader artwork in the form of LEGO Art's 31200 Star Wars The Sith from 2020.

This model is back from when LEGO Art was all mosaics, and we can only hope that the rumoured model will be a more innovative take on Darth Vader.

75470 Mustafar Duel

It's claimed that we're finally heading back to Mustafar in a full set early next year. The last time we visited the hot planet in LEGO Star Wars was in 75269 Duel on Mustafar, also from 2020. That build originally cost $19.99, and the new rumoured model is said to be double the price.

75476 Endor Battle Pack

Even the concept of an Endor Battle Pack isn't entirely new. 9489 Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper Battle Pack hails from all the way back in 2012, rumoured to be revisited 15 years later.

The $29.99 price tag for the 2027 rumour might make the new set more comparable to the likes of 7956 Ewok Attack, but that set wasn't a battle pack. We can only hope that a new take on an Endor Battle Pack will find a spot for an Ewok or two, in addition to the rebels and Imperial forces.

75478 Y-wing

75478 Y-wing is also rumoured for early next year with a $79.99 price tag. While the most recent LEGO Y-wings have come in various sizes, the last set around this price tag would be 2019's 75249 Resistance Y-wing Starfighter.

The new rumoured information doesn't confirm which era the Y-wing may be from, though. The most recent Y-wing based on the original trilogy would be 2017's 75172 Y-wing Starfighter. Either way, it has been a while since the last LEGO Y-wing playset.

75480 Bespin Duel

75480 Bespin Duel is one of the most exciting rumoured sets in this latest update, as there's only one set to compare it to. A small build of this scene appeared in the much larger 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City from 2018 and even 10123 Cloud City from 2003, but the classic moment had a standalone set in 75294 Bespin Duel from 2020.

That latter build was intended to be a convention-exclusive, but due to the worldwide pandemic, it received a wider release in the US only for $39.99. Now, everyone is rumoured to get a chance at this LEGO scene early next year.
