Those in attendance at this year’s New York Comic Con will be able to get their hands on a playable demo of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
New York Comic Con returns to the Big Apple next month, with the annual pop culture event taking place from October 9 to October 12 at the Javits Center in Manhattan. As usual, there will be plenty for visitors to see, do and purchase during those dates, with numerous celebrities, guests and exhibitors in attendance.
In addition, DC Comics has confirmed that the company will have a booth on the New York Comic Con show floor, one that will feature a playable demo of the upcoming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game.

The TT Games and Warner Bros. Games title was officially revealed at Gamescom last month and is scheduled to be released sometime in 2026. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is set to be a sprawling open world action-adventure experience, one that will draw from 86 years of DC lore.
The LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight playable demo will be the exact same version that was at Gamescom, but it’s unknown at this stage if more of the game will be accessible to fans who want to check it out for themselves.

Those who do manage to spend some time with LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight at booth 4365 can explore an unlocked area of Gotham City, take down criminals, race around the streets in one of the game’s many Batmobiles and even try out a full story mission.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2026. Players who sign up for a WB Games account right now can grab a free Golden Age Batsuit inspired by Detective Comics #27, in advance of the launch.
