New LEGO Disney 100th anniversary sets continue the celebrations

Keep Disney’s 100th anniversary celebrations going this summer with seven new magical LEGO Disney sets that have all been released today.

There’s reason to celebrate today, with a new wave of LEGO Disney models arriving online and in-stores. The seven builds continue Disney’s year-long 100th anniversary festivities in style, with a range of sets aimed at younger and older fans alike.

For arty model-makers, there’s 43221 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons, which includes enough pieces to make a collage of 72 different characters. The set can be made and remade with various combinations of famous animated faces and also comes with an exclusive minifigure of Mickey Mouse.

Then there's 43226 Disney Duos, which will delight fans with small brick-built film companions ranging from Moana’s Pua and Hei Hei to Beauty and the Beast’s Lumiere and Cogsworth. The posable figures can be combined together in pairs and make for fantastic display pieces.

The largest new LEGO Disney set released today is 43227 Villain Icons, which clocks in at 1,540-pieces. The model includes exclusive minifigures of Maleficent, the Evil Queen in Disguise from Snow White, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast and Jafar Genie, alongside a selection of buildable prop items that contain hidden surprises.
