LEGO F1 brings custom car and bouquets to Las Vegas Grand Prix

The LEGO Group and Formula 1's partnership was on full display at the Las Vegas Grand Prix yesterday, with a working LEGO car and more.

Following a similar series of events and activations at previous races, the LEGO Group bolstered its partnership with Formula 1 to bring a dash of building to the Las Vegas Grand Prix, all while bringing Cadillac into the mix.

“Together with Formula 1, at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, we capped off a year of unforgettable moments that bring fans a new dimension to the way they experience F1," said Julia Goldin, Chief Product & Marketing Officer at the LEGO Group.

"Throughout the year we brought fans closer to Grand Prix experiences and the sport of Formula 1, and this year in Las Vegas was no different, from our incredible LEGO brick-built Cadillac car, to activating on Sphere’s iconic Exosphere with new and engaging content, and sharing the next step in our partnership with F1 ACADEMY with the world – the 2025 calendar has been incredible, and we can’t wait for what’s to come in 2026.”

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1 and President & CEO of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, added, “The FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX has quickly become an iconic cornerstone in the F1 calendar, and it’s been fantastic to work with the LEGO Group to bring new ideas and creativity to fans.

"We’re always pushing boundaries both on and off track, and once again, our partnership with LEGO Group upped the ante. It’s been an incredible first year working together, and we can’t wait for fans to see what else we have planned into the future.”

Read on for a rundown of everything LEGO Formula 1 that appeared at the Las Vegas Grand Prix yesterday.

LEGO 1950s Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special cooldown car

A giant LEGO car, based on a classic pink 1950s Cadillac Sixty Special, was created using over 418,000 LEGO elements, first showcased in the F1 Paddock at a custom chapel throughout the weekend for fans to have a closer look, before hitting the track after the race.

The car weighs over two tonnes and measures over five metres long, complete with functioning lights and sound. The three top drivers in the race, Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and George Russell, sat in the back of the LEGO car with LEGO sunglasses, on the way to the podium and with actor Terry Crews behind the wheel. It was one of the most surprising events of the entire race. This model was teased earlier in the week.

LEGO Cadillac chapel

As part of the Cadillac and F1 partnership, a chapel was opened up with a LEGO twist. The pink chapel was decorated with upscaled LEGO elements, the huge LEGO 1950s Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special and some Botanicals bouquets. A video from Las Vegas' tourism TikTok account demonstrates that this was a functional chapel, too, with multiple couples getting married next to the race track.

The LEGO Las Vegas F1 Hub was also open over the weekend, filled with LEGO F1 ACADEMY merchandise, exclusive to the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix. Official images reveal that the merchandise includes a range of shirts and hoodies, all available at the hub located at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

With another race behind us, don't forget that a first-of-its-kind LEGO F1 set is launching next year and the LEGO Group is taking to the track as part of the massive partnership.
