We're still waiting on the LEGO Formula 1 Drivers Parade documentary, but in the meantime, Drive to Survive has a behind-the-scenes look.
The latest season of Netflix's Drive to Survive series was released yesterday, and LEGO fans with a subscription may want to tune in to a specific episode. The fifth episode of Season 8 features the parade around 12 minutes in, including insight from many of the drivers and their live reactions to learning about the giant LEGO cars.
The LEGO Formula 1 Drivers Parade was a surprise event at the Miami Grand Prix last year, seeing drivers from the 10 teams drive life-sized versions of their cars around the track in a memorable moment that went viral almost immediately.
At least this portion of the episode is worth watching for LEGO enthusiasts with a Netflix subscription. There's still no sign of the comprehensive Bricks on Track: Building the LEGO F1 Drivers’ Parade documentary that was announced late last year.
Though a return of the LEGO Drivers Parade has not been confirmed, the possibility hasn't been ruled out just yet. In the meantime, a full range of LEGO Speed Champions and City Formula 1 car creations are out now, with more launching tomorrow across those themes and Technic, too.
