Every LEGO Harry Potter set retiring in 2025 and beyond – January update

The LEGO Group has brought forward the retirement dates of multiple LEGO Harry Potter sets, which means that a total of 14 different Wizarding World products are now leaving shelves in 2025.

Just four Harry Potter sets were originally on the way out this year, but as of January the LEGO Group has also pulled 10 more into the mix – most of which were scheduled to retire in 2026, but two of which were initially planned to hang around until the end of 2027. Those are 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station and this year’s brand new 76441 Hogwarts Castle: The Dueling Club.

Notable entries among the other sets heading for earlier retirement include 76426 Hogwarts Castle Boathouse, 76430 Hogwarts Castle Owlery and 76431 Hogwarts Castle: Potions Class, which are all part of the current modular Hogwarts system introduced in summer 2024. Likewise 76428 Hagrid's Hut: An Unexpected Visit, which can also be considered to be part of the collection given it sits in the grounds of the castle.

Heading off in the other direction is 76424 Flying Ford Anglia, which was once scheduled to retire in 2025 but will now stay in production through the end of 2027 (pending any further reshuffles). The rest of this year’s sets – including 76444 Diagon Alley: Wizarding Shops and 76453 Malfoy Manor – are also currently slated to enjoy up to three years on shelves, with the exception of 76443 Hagrid & Harry’s Motorcycle Ride, which is due to retire in 2026.

If you’re trying to plan out your 2025 spending, make a beeline for 75978 Diagon Alley and 76391 Hogwarts Icons Collectors' Edition, two of the oldest LEGO Harry Potter sets still on shelves – and easily two of the best. They’re both heading for the door in 2025 unless anything changes between now and the end of the year.
