Chronicle Books’ LEGO Heroes – which tells stories of LEGO fans using bricks to solve real-world challenges – is now available to order directly from the online store, and qualifies for LEGO VIP points.
Written by former Brick Fanatics editor Graham E. Hancock, LEGO Heroes arrived on shelves in May, and recounts the stories of 12 different creators finding innovative uses for LEGO bricks in the real world. From LEGO Braille Bricks and brick-built wheelchair ramps to prosthetic arms and coral reef research, the 112-page book aims to inspire with deep dives into ‘life-changing innovations’.
“We’ve all seen big, impressive LEGO models, but there is another type of story that’s even more intriguing than huge builds – occasions where people are using LEGO bricks in ways you would never expect, where LEGO bricks intersect with ‘real life’ to have some kind of positive impact,” Graham told Brick Fanatics earlier this year.
“There have been some wonderful books showcasing beautiful models, some great books looking at sets that the LEGO Group has released, but never one looking at the impact people are having on the world using the LEGO System as a jumping-off point. It’s not just a great book for [adult fans of LEGO], but also for people who are LEGO-curious. You don’t need any deep LEGO knowledge to enjoy these stories.”
LEGO Heroes is available to buy now from LEGO.com for £13.99 / $18.95 / €15.99. Like regular LEGO sets, the book qualifies for VIP points and counts towards gift-with-purchase thresholds.
