LEGO Icons 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade includes more than just two ghosts

As well as two brick-built ghosts, LEGO Icons 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade includes even more of the spooky characters lurking within the set.

The upcoming LEGO Icons 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade is the stuff of a retro gamer’s dreams. As well as presenting builders with a scaled-down version of the classic Namco cabinet, the 2,651-piece set is also packed with details and plenty of fun Easter eggs to spot.

Launching next month to celebrate the game’s 43rd anniversary, the LEGO Icons model is a faithful recreation of the original arcade machine, complete with odd images of PAC-MAN with legs, a light-up coin slot and even a mini version of the cabinet hidden within the set’s interior.

In addition, 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade includes a display base with a brick-built PAC-MAN and two double-sided ghosts, BLINKY and CLYDE. However, eagle-eyed gamers will no doubt be able to spot even more of the spooks dotted around the build just waiting to be discovered.

For starters, 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade features printed 1x1 pieces as part of the set’s mechanical maze function, with BLINKY and CLYDE joined by PINKY (pink) and INKY (cyan). There are also spare versions of those small elements on the display base for the brick-built PAC-MAN, BLINKY and CLYDE models.

Open up the back of 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade and there’s a female gamer minifigure wearing a white T-shirt with an image of PINKY on it, which is another great nod to the original 80s game. The ghosts also make one last appearance in the set and can be seen on the tiny screen of the miniature PAC-MAN arcade machine.
