Rumoured product numbers, piece counts and release dates for three new LEGO Icons 2025 sets have emerged online, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Transformers and How to Train Your Dragon.
Previous reports suggested all three of those licences would either be returning to the fold or joining the portfolio for the first time in 2025, delivering a mix of buildable characters and playsets. What we didn’t have until now was an idea of when these sets might arrive specifically in 2025, how big they could be and indeed where they’ll slot into the full LEGO Icons line-up for this year.
Redditor Clay_Bricks has now reported a smattering of that info for the three sets, including product numbers and release dates for the entire trio, plus piece counts for two of them. Check out all the latest info below – but take it with a grain of salt, because it’s all still just rumoured for now, and details could change between now and release (if these sets exist at all).
10358 Transformers: Soundwave
Price: TBC Pieces: 1,502 Release date: August 2025

The successor to LEGO Transformers 10302 Optimus Prime and 10338 Bumblebee was initially reported to be Soundwave, and is now rumoured to include 1,502 pieces when it hits shelves in August 2025. That’s just six fewer pieces than Optimus Prime, and 552 more pieces than Bumblebee, suggesting 10358 Transformers: Soundwave will come in at roughly the same scale as those two sets. No prizes for guessing that one.
10365 Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl
Price: TBC Pieces: TBC Release date: September 2025

We still don’t have a piece count or really any other details for 10365 Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl, but this latest info drop does include the first mention of that set number, along with a release date of September 2025. We’ve still got a while to wait until we see whether the seafaring franchise really is returning to LEGO Store shelves, then – and at what scale…
10375 How to Train Your Dragon: Toothless
Price: TBC Pieces: 784 Release date: July 2025

The first of these rumoured LEGO Icons sets we’ll see in person (if these release dates are to be believed) is 10375 How to Train Your Dragon: Toothless, which is rumoured to launch in July with 784 pieces. That would make the franchise’s LEGO debut relatively affordable in the grand scheme of things, even if a buildable character is unlikely to satisfy minifigure enthusiasts.
