It’s been a busy 12 months for the LEGO Ideas team, as they look back over the last year and prepare themselves for a busy 2024.
The LEGO Ideas theme is easily one of the most exciting, consistently delivering unique sets and working with builders to make their own amazing models a reality. In 2023 the LEGO Ideas team managed to deliver seven incredible sets, ranging from 21338 A-Frame Cabin and 21339 BTS Dynamite to 21342 The Insect Collection and 21344 The Orient Express Train, all of which were based on successful fan designs.
The LEGO Ideas team has taken a look back at 2023 in an all-new blog post, reflecting on the theme’s highs over the last 12 months and the many unique collaborations that have emerged during the year. They include the arrival of 40595 Tribute to Galileo Galilei as a GWP, 10 new sets added to those already currently in development and 14 contests based around the likes of The Lord of the Rings, LoFi Girl, Dungeons & Dragons and more.
The team also offers a big thank you to everyone who’s been involved in LEGO Ideas this year, from creator submissions and support to feedback and sharing. The blog doesn’t go into any details regarding what might next for the theme in 2024, beyond a renewed focus on Activities and the arrival of the first new LEGO Ideas set on January 1.

21345 Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera will launch on that date, priced at £69.99 / $79.99 / €79.99 and pre-orders are now open.
