Brace your bank account, as the summer 2026 LEGO set release day is just around the corner, though some regions will be receiving the models a month or two later. Click here to catch up on all the new LEGO sets coming in June.

Whenever they are released, some sets will be worth picking up at launch. For some specific models, you'll want to make sure you have a free LEGO Insiders account.

Read on to see which new LEGO models made our list, and why.

72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots

Price: £109.99, $129.99, €119.99 Pieces: 1,403 Minifigures: 1

LEGO Shrek 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots-featured-1

The first LEGO Shrek set launches on June 1 in the form of 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots. There's a BrickHeadz model, too, but this bigger build is easily the star of the show.

It's still odd to see such a massive and iconic animated property depicted in LEGO pieces after so many years of waiting. That long-awaited nature seems likely to cause this model to sell out fast after launch, and fans eager to get into LEGO Shrek early will want to plan a launch day purchase.

43302 Main Street, U.S.A.

Price: £319.99 / $399.99 / €349.99 Pieces: 3,899 Minifigures: 16

LEGO Disney 43302 Main Street USA-3

Whether you've visited the real thing or not, 43302 Main Street, U.S.A. is an interesting depiction of the Disneyland area using nearly 4,000 pieces. It comes with several exclusive minifigure prints and parts, three buildings with interiors and references, as well as a vintage fire engine.

LEGO Insiders will receive a few days of early access to this Disneyland model on June 1 before a launch to the wider public on June 4. That alone is a good reason to pick it up on June 1, but it also seems likely to be a popular model with theme park fans, especially since Main Street, U.S.A. appears at Disney theme parks worldwide.

31387 Iconic Pirate Ship

Price: £89.99 / $109.99 / €99.99 Pieces: 1,074 Minifigures: 4

LEGO Pirates is back, again, in 31387 Iconic Pirate Ship. Creator once again proves that it's the new home of retro themes, and this new Pirate ship looks to be just as good, if not better than the theme's 2020 model.

It will likely see discounts later, but at £89.99 / $109.99 / €99.99, it's not a bad price for the LEGO Pirates fan who just can't wait for another seafaring model.

21368 Peanuts: Snoopy's Doghouse

Price: £69.99 / $89.99 / €79.99 Pieces: 964 Minifigures: 0

You'd be forgiven for forgetting that LEGO Snoopy is coming next month after the past few weeks of exciting announcements. Rest assured that 21368 Peanuts: Snoopy's Doghouse will be released on June 1, though, bringing another partnership under the LEGO Group's umbrella.

This is the first, and so far only, LEGO Snoopy set. That alone makes it worth picking up at launch, especially for fans of the comic strip. At £69.99 / $89.99 / €79.99 for 964 pieces, it's also well-priced for a licensed LEGO model.

40926 SEGA Mega Drive Console

Price: £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99 Pieces: 479 Minifigures: 0

lego 40926 contents

40926 SEGA Mega Drive Console is yet another LEGO console recreation and only costs £34.99 / $39.99 / €39.99 for 479 pieces. Unlike 72046 Game Boy, 40926 SEGA Mega Drive Console has yet to be listed at any other retailers. That means it will probably remain exclusive to the LEGO Group's stores and therefore receive few to no discounts until it retires.

Considering the price and this likelihood, you might as well pick it up when it launches on June 1, 2026.

11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith

Price: £579.99 / $649.99/ €649.99 Pieces: 8,278 Minifigures: 10

With a combination of LEGO Insiders early access on June 1 and an exclusive Grond gift-with-purchase that may well sell out fast, 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith is the one LEGO set to absolutely pick up at launch.

We don't yet know whether the long-awaited Minas Tirith set will be coming to other retailers, and therefore, if it will go on sale eventually. Waiting means missing out on LEGO Grond, though. This £579.99 / $649.99/ €649.99 also features 8,278 elements, making such a big purchase easier to justify.
