LEGO Marvel 2026 sets, within and beyond a superhero setting

LEGO Marvel 2026 sets, within and beyond a superhero setting

There's a swathe of new and interesting elements in the LEGO Marvel 2026 sets, many of which will find use within and beyond superhero settings.

We recently went hands-on with most of the new LEGO Marvel sets launching next month to explore what secrets they contained, including the variety of intriguing elements and decorations found across them. Many of these stood out and inspired some custom creations to properly showcase their inherent potential.

From Human Torch upgrades for less than £10 / $10 / €10 to some signage that will be useful in any LEGO City display, read on for a guide on how to use parts of the LEGO Marvel January 2026 sets.

An easy Human Torch upgrade

Ghost Rider's new hand and head accessories from 76335 Spider-Man vs. Ghost Rider Motorcycle will be great to upgrade any fire-based characters, but they're especially useful to quickly and easily upgrade Johnny Storm's recent minifigure from 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure.

Switching his hair and the older Power Blast pieces for these new accessories instantly improves his flaming appearance. You can pick up another copy of the £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 set to upgrade the older LEGO flames used on his feet, too.

A bent lamp post for a car crash scene

Though it's not exactly a new-for-2026 piece, the element used for the bent lamp post in 76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman has only been available in black within more expensive models, making this a prime opportunity to stock up on the piece for any accident scenes around your LEGO City.

As depicted in the 2026 Spider-Man model, this piece works great for lamp posts or street signs that have been bent out of shape. It is the final assembly needed to complete a crash scene. Just make sure there's a LEGO ambulance nearby or on the way.

From Hulkbuster scene decor to highway signage

A specific sticker in LEGO Marvel 76343 Epic Battle: Hulkbuster vs. The Hulk isn't necessary to the scene, but can be used to add important signage to a city display. The green highway signage build connected to the black structure can be safely removed from the model and connected to a similar structure to bolster a LEGO highway model, indicating the directions in which traffic can head around your LEGO city.

We've demonstrated the potential of this sticker in a custom creation above, just in case you need another excuse to pick up 76343 Epic Battle: Hulkbuster vs. The Hulk on January 1, 2026.

Another miniature Marvel modular building

LEGO Marvel's new 76342 Spider-Man vs. Mysterio: The Daily Bugle is the latest addition to the theme's relatively recent range of miniature modular buildings. As you would expect, it works next to the likes of 76311 Miles Morales vs. The Spot, 76317 Peter Parker’s Apartment, and will also be compatible with 76324 Spider-Man vs. Oscorp (not pictured).

It's worth keeping in mind that this collection is also designed to connect to some of LEGO Harry Potter's Diagon Alley builds, including 76452 Quality Quidditch Supplies & Ice Cream Parlour. The Wizarding World models won't combine quite as seamlessly into a street scene, but the option is there for any crossovers you have in mind.

A plant-based gardener for your LEGO Botanicals sets

lego marvel 76341 Ravager Jumpsuit Groot review botanicals 1200x800

The new 76341 Ravager Jumpsuit Groot doesn't naturally blend with LEGO Botanicals sets quite as well as the original, and now retired Groot model. Thankfully, a bit of imagination on your end can help him work within a LEGO Botanicals display all the same. Groot's new maroon jumpsuit provides a level of sturdiness to the figure that the previous LEGO Groot builds have lacked.

While it is starkly different to his natural and leaf-adorned appearance, picture Groot as the gardener of your LEGO Botanicals sets. His new outfit is just part of the uniform that stops him from getting dirty while caring for your plastic plants. Pair the figure with some custom, downscaled LEGO garden tools, and he can still work just fine alongside Botanicals models. The brown-adjacent hue also works next to builds such as 10281 Bonsai Tree.

A new cowl for LEGO Batman

It has been years since the release of the original Detective Comics Batman minifigure from the first DC minifigure series, and its exclusive cowl element has now been retired. This cowl element was useful not only for the Detective Comics minifigure, but mixing up the variety of cowls your Batman minifigures can wear.

Thankfully, 76336 Spider-Man Car vs. Venomized Wolverine is racing in with a near-perfect replacement. Since Wolverine is venomized in the 2026 model, he comes with a black version of his iconic cowl and the resemblance to Batman's original mask is uncanny. We tested out this cowl on the most generic-looking Batman minifigure (from The LEGO Batman movie) and discovered that Wolverine's new cowl works wonders for mixing up Batman's costumes.

These LEGO Marvel models all launch on January 1, 2026, and you can take a closer look at the contents by clicking here.
