Rumoured LEGO Marvel 18+ mask has a few Fantastic candidates

There are a few potential candidates for a rumoured 18+ LEGO Marvel mask set in 2025, all of which could spin out of the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.

Multiple new LEGO Marvel sets are rumoured to be arriving in 2025, following 10 models launching on January 1. In addition, looking further ahead could see the arrival of numerous comic book-based builds next year, if the most recent rumours prove to be true.

Included in the latest report regarding possible LEGO Marvel sets for 2025 is 76326, said to be an unknown mask or helmet coming in at 379 pieces for $59.99 and potentially arriving next August. It's worth noting that previous similar builds such as 76251 Star-Lord’s Helmet and 76285 Spider-Man’s Mask are also aimed at the same target audience, but with much higher piece counts.

With three MCU movies launching in 2025, there are a number of potential candidates for 76326 to be based on, but the set’s reported release date might hint at the model being inspired by a character from the upcoming The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Marvel’s first family arrives on cinema screens around the world on July 25, which would line up well with the rumoured LEGO Marvel build possibly dropping the following month.

In terms of characters, Ben Grimm’s the Thing would certainly present a very different kind of LEGO Marvel model, but the character’s rocky visage isn’t a mask. A more likely option could be Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, although that would ultimately depend on how much the film decided to keep the A-list movie star's face hidden behind a menacing metal mask.

One final alternative might come in the shape of the World Devourer himself, Galactus. Already rumoured to be appearing in the potential 76316 Galactus vs The Fantastic Four next year, the giant-sized character’s iconic purple helmet would certainly be striking enough, but 76326’s reported 379-piece count is unlikely to do the planet-consuming cosmic being justice.

As usual, do treat all of the above as pure speculation for now until such time as any of the rumoured LEGO Marvel 2025 sets are confirmed.
