LEGO Minas Tirith has a packed cast of minifigures, featuring all kinds of firsts for the range and theme, with only one repeated outfit.

Most of these characters have appeared in either the LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings sets or the film franchise's now-retired theme. However, the majority of them have brand new outfits with an unparalleled level of detail. Here's a closer look at all of the new minifigures, as well as how they compare to their on-screen appearances.
Gandalf the White
Gandalf the White is the only repeated minifigure in
It's a fairly dramatic change for this LEGO The Lord of the Rings minifigure, but still an overall upgrade with the addition of hip and leg printing.

Denethor
Denethor's sour expression has been captured excellently in his first minifigure, matching actor John Noble. The minifigure's outfit is suitably plush and luxurious, but with some armour underneath.
Peregrin Took
The first-ever Peregrin Took minifigure isn't the first minifigure of the character commonly known as Pippin, but it is the first time that the character has been equipped with the signature black armour, with the exposed feet.
Aragorn as King Elessar
Aragorn is a character we have seen in other LEGO The Lord of the Rings sets, but never in the role of King Elessar. It's one of the best minifigures in
Arwen
Arwen returns from
Soldiers of Gondor
Four Soldiers of Gondor minifigures fill out the rest of the minifigure selection, featuring a mixed bag of face prints. The focus here is on the armour and shield, with printing to match the detailing from the film, as well as a new helmet piece.

Four is enough to populate the set, but you'll need a lot more for a full army. It unfortunately seems unlikely that these pieces will land on Pick a Brick later this year, either.
Shadowfax
