LEGO Minecraft officially reveals eight new sets for 2026

Eight all-new LEGO Minecraft sets will be dropping in early 2026, including a mini sequel to the soon-to-retire 21265 The Crafting Table.

The LEGO Minecraft theme will be joined by multiple new additions on January 1, 2026, with eight upcoming sets officially revealed today. Next year’s wave includes 21583 Steve's Taiga Adventure, 21584 Nether & End Portal Journey, 21585 Chicken Farm, 21586 The Pale Garden, 21587 Zombie Dungeon, 21588 The Fox and 21590 Wither Battle.

As well as a number of new minifigures and brick-built mobs, the upcoming LEGO Minecraft range also includes an unofficial sequel to the soon-to-retire 21265 The Crafting Table, in the shape of 21589 Mini Biomes.

21583 Steve's Taiga Adventure

Price: £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 Pieces: 79 Minifigures: 1 Release date: January 1, 2026

Kicking off next year’s new LEGO Minecraft line-up is 21583 Steve's Taiga Adventure, the smallest of those sets at just 79 pieces for £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99. The model features a spruce tree, snow and taiga grass side build, with blast-apart rocks to reveal diamonds, plus a Steve minifigure and Creeper, fox and baby bunny figures.

21584 Nether & End Portal Journey

Price: £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 Pieces: 192 Minifigures: 1 Release date: January 1, 2026

Coming in at 192 pieces is 21584 Nether & End Portal Journey, priced at £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 . The LEGO Minecraft set features a portal to pass between both locations, in addition to a small build from each biome, a Cool Hero minifigure, brick-built Enderman and baby hoglin figures, and multiple themed accessories.

21585 Chicken Farm

Price: £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 Pieces: 233 Minifigures: 1 Release date: January 1, 2026

An updated take on 21140 The Chicken Coop from 2018 will arrive next year, thanks to 21585 Chicken Farm. Clocking in at 233 pieces and with a price tag of £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99, the LEGO Minecraft model boasts a chicken coop structure with moveable wings, with the ability to lay eggs at the rear and dispense seeds from its mouth. Rounding out the set are a Chicken Fan minifigure, and cold chicken, baby chicken, fox and baby zombie figures.

21586 The Pale Garden

Price: £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 Pieces: 243 Minifigures: 1 Release date: January 1, 2026

21586 The Pale Garden is the first-ever LEGO Minecraft set to be based on the recently-added LEGO Minecraft biome. The model features a pale oak tree with removable precious resin and a creaking heart as part of the main moss and eye blossom flower-covered build. Bolstering the video game set is the debut of a Mothman minifigure, as well as creaking, Creeper and skeleton figures.

21587 Zombie Dungeon

Price: £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99 Pieces: 284 Minifigures: 4 Release date: January 1, 2026

With 21587 Zombie Dungeon, LEGO Minecraft fans get to take on a horde of the undead mob, while exploring an underground desert biome. The 284-piece set will retail for £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99 and includes a Wastelands Wanderer and three zombie minifigures, one with enchanted leggings and gold sword and one with diamond helmet. The model also has a rotating zombie-spawning chamber and rockfall feature, plus a printed slime piece.

21588 The Fox

Price: £39.99 / $39.99 / €44.99 Pieces: 497 Minifigures: None Release date: January 1, 2026

Yet another Minecraft mob will get the large-scale treatment next year, with the arrival of 21588 The Fox. Comprised of 497 pieces, the £39.99 / $39.99 / €44.99 set allows for the creation of the cute brick-built creature, with the model boasting moveable legs, a rotatable neck, repositionable head and a reversable eye section showing the fox with its eyes open or closed.

21589 Mini Biomes

Price: £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99 Pieces: 797 Minifigures: None Release date: January 1, 2026

Following in the footsteps of the soon-to-retire 21265 The Crafting Table comes a new model that’s compatible with the previous LEGO Minecraft set. 21589 Mini Biomes includes five brick-built environments to assemble, each of which can be swapped out with the existing model. Priced at £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99 and with 797 pieces, 21589 Mini Biomes also features a reversable day/night-time backdrop, plus printed Steve, Creeper, mooshroom, husk and pillager microfigures.

21590 Wither Battle

Price: £59.99 / $64.99 / €64.99 Pieces: 494 Minifigures: 1 Release date: January 1, 2026

Rounding out next year’s first LEGO Minecraft wave is 21590 Wither Battle, a 494-piece build for £59.99 / $64.99 / €64.99. The model transports fans to the warped forest biome to construct a Nether portal and shrine with crafting table, with an explosion play feature to reveal the deadly brick-built wither. The upcoming set is bolstered by a Crimson Warrior minifigure, two wither skeleton figures, a strider and a magma cube.
