An iconic London landmark will be transformed this weekend, with Battersea Power Station becoming the LEGO Minifigure Factory of Creativity.
One of the more recent LEGO Stores to have opened in the UK can be found at Battersea Power Station in the capital city. The converted building welcomed visitors for the first time last year, with the Grade II listed location being one of the largest brick-built structures in Europe.
All eyes will be on Battersea Power Station this weekend then, when the London landmark is transformed into the LEGO Minifigure Factory of Creativity. From 6pm to 11pm on Saturday 26, the building will be the backdrop for a stunning light show that's sure to impress onlookers, as part of the LEGO Group’s current Play is your Superpower promotional campaign.

Fans who make their way down to Battersea Power Station this evening will get to witness what’s said to be a spectacular projection that will illuminate the building’s iconic 50-metre-high chimneys and walls along the River Thames.
Colourful 3D LEGO minifigures will spring to life during the video show, with animated robotic arms assembling each character, before then launching them high into the London sky.

The Play is your Superpower campaign is currently in full swing, with a number of themed activities having already taken place this year. Those include pop-up events at LEGO stores around the world, free make and take models and more.
The LEGO Store Battersea will remain open until 8pm today to accommodate any visitors looking to do some shopping during the light show, allowing customers to pick up sets and enjoy the stunning view.
