A new, classic series of LEGO minifigures has been announced in the form of Series 29, including NINJAGO, Bionicle, new pieces and much more.
After a series of animal costumes, the LEGO Group is going back to a classic, varied series of characters for you to collect from May 1. 71052 Series 29 is your latest LEGO minifigures series, and it will cost £3.49 / $4.99 / €3.99 for each of the 12 characters, to be found in blind boxes.
Those 12 minifigures include a swathe of new pieces, from weaponry to headwear to a skeletal fish. The highlights of this series include a BIONICLE cosplayer, the Mysterious Ronin (a certain someone from NINJAGO), and the steampunk-esque monster-hunting minifigure.

Images of the packaging do not confirm whether Series 29 will continue the data matrix codes on the bottom of the packaging. It seems likely, now that they have been used for the past few years.
