80036 The City of Lanterns uses similar modular segments, and these appear to be interchangeable with the temple, noodle shop and market stalls in 80044 Monkie Kid’s Team Hideout.

Placing the two side-by-side and changing the layout should help you depict a landscape with urban and natural features. The box art of 80044 Monkie Kid’s Team Hideout seems to suggest that these locations are near each other too, with a larger settlement behind the hideout.
