LEGO SMART Play demonstrations planned for UK and Germany

LEGO Star Wars SMART Play sets are out now, but for those unconvinced, in-person demonstrations are coming to the UK and Germany.

The features of the LEGO Star Wars SMART Play sets are hard to describe in just photos and descriptions, so retailers are bringing the SMART Brick's functionality to you in a number of demonstrations. In the UK, the upper floor of the Leicester Square LEGO Store has been converted into a LEGO SMART Play Zone for visitors to find out what the technology-infused bricks and tags can do. Employees will be on hand to show how the various sets work.

What's more, Argos is offering free hands-on demonstrations in selected stores on March 28 between 10am and 4pm. Dozens of stores are offering the in-person events, and you can find a full list here.

In Germany, retailers across the country are putting on similar events. There's an interactive map showing every participating location, with the majority taking place in Smyths, Thalia, and MediaMarkt/Saturn shops. The events are taking place between March 5 and April 18, depending on the retailer and region.
