The LEGO Star Wars theme loves an anniversary, so it was never going to pass up the opportunity to celebrate 25 years since the very first sets from a galaxy far, far away landed on shelves. The licensed theme has debuted a huge variety of sets with exclusive 25th anniversary packaging throughout 2024, many of which include a printed brick with the 25 Years of LEGO Star Wars logo, and several of which include an exclusive 25th anniversary minifigure.

LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary R2-D2 Black Friday deals
One of the very first LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary sets to hit shelves was 75379 R2-D2, a 1,050-piece buildable version of the saga’s most iconic astromech droid. While it’s competing directly with the bigger and more detailed 75308 R2-D2, this newer model has a couple of unique strings in its bow: namely its exclusive Darth Malak 25th anniversary minifigure and its compatibility with 75398 C-3PO, which has retroactively made it one of the year’s most essential purchases.
It’s regularly available for 20% off through third-party retailers, and should be even cheaper come Black Friday.
LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary TIE Interceptor Black Friday deals
The biggest LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary set released in the first half of 2024 is 75382 TIE Interceptor, a redesign of one of the very first Ultimate Collector Series sets. Complete with 25th anniversary branding and the printed 25 Years of LEGO Star Wars brick, it’s one many LEGO Star Wars collectors will be seeking out across the Black Friday period, when we should start to see some tempting discounts on this May the 4th set.
If nothing else though, it should count towards whatever gifts-with-purchase the LEGO Group has up its sleeve for Black Friday 2024, as well as qualifying for double Insiders points.

Perhaps the biggest draw for LEGO Star Wars fans in 2024 are the seven unique minifigures scattered across the 25th-anniversary range, which include Darth Malak, ARC Trooper Fives, Saw Gerrera, Cal Kestis, Princess Leia, Nien Nunb and QT-KT. Each of those characters makes their LEGO Star Wars debut in their respective sets (at least in these guises, in the case of Leia), and many are long overdue additions to the line-up.
Collecting a full set should be much easier during Black Friday, when the sets that they each appear in will hopefully receive their first (or best) discounts to date.
