Upcoming LEGO Star Wars magazine will be essential for army building

LEGO Star Wars fans looking to fill out the ranks of their Clone Shock Trooper minifigure collections will be in luck next month.

Last year’s 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack certainly offered great value, but also inconsistent and questionable quality. Apart from a mouthful of a set name, the model came with a desirable selection of minifigures (plus a few droid figures) that are still worth picking up, yet it was a couple of lacklustre vehicle builds that ultimately let the pack down.

The good news for galactic army builders is that one of the must-have minifigures from 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack will be given away as a free gift with next month’s edition of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine, at least in the UK.

Issue # 129 is due to drop in late November and will come with a single Clone Shock Trooper, the exact same minifigure that was included in 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship from 2023 and last year’s 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack.

With only one Clone Shock Trooper available in the latter set, picking up next month’s issue of LEGO Star Wars magazine for £5.50 would therefore make it a much more cost-effective way of adding the character to your collection, without having to suffer through a particularly poor speeder bike build.

The same minifigure was previously available as a cover-mounted freebie on the Issue # 106 of the title back in March 2024, where it was branded as a Coruscant Guard. The Clone Shock Trooper minifigure is notable for its distinctive Phase II style red and white armour, and comes complete with leg printing and a blaster rifle accessory.
