Just one day after the first trailer for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu showcased the new Razor Crest, a custom LEGO version has surfaced.
The trailer for the next Star Wars movie was revealed yesterday, giving us a first look at several vehicles and scenes that would be perfect for future LEGO Star Wars sets. None of them feels quite as inevitable as the new Razor Crest, now fitted with more yellow stripes, but otherwise closely resembling Din Djarin's first ship in The Mandalorian series.
These similarities have made it possible for farawaybricks to make a custom depiction of this ship just over 24 hours after the trailer was released, releasing the instructions on Rebrickable. The creation comes at one of the few scales not yet represented by an official LEGO Razor Crest – midi-scale.
The 448-piece build still has plenty of room for Din Djarin and Grogu, and the fan took to Instagram to explain their process in quickly recreating the new, but familiar ship.
"I released a midi-scale model of The Razor Crest in January this year, and was actually just about to take it apart when the new trailer dropped," wrote farawaybricks. "So I decided I’d put together a quick 'recolour'. This ended up being a more involved process than I initially assumed."
Despite being more involved than they expected, their take on this new Razor Crest has quickly followed up on the trailer. The Mandalorian and Grogu will be released on May 22, 2026. No sets have been confirmed for the film at the time of writing, but the LEGO Star Wars community will surely fill in the gaps in the meantime.
