New LEGO Timelines book release date and preview pages

Publisher DK has revealed a fresh look at interior pages from its upcoming LEGO Timelines book, plus a revised release date for the official title.

Details of DK’s next official LEGO book were revealed earlier this year, thanks to an early Amazon listing. LEGO Timelines is a 256-page title written by Simon Hugo that will take a deep dive through 100 years of LEGO history, featuring multiple themes, sets, minifigures and more.

LEGO Timelines was originally scheduled to be released on September 5, 2024, but has since been pushed back, with revised launch dates of October 22 in the US and October 24 in the UK and Europe.

The licensed book aims to bring LEGO history to life with more than 70 illustrated timelines, from the early days of LEGO Town, Castle, Space and Pirates, right up to more modern offerings such as LEGO Star Wars and NINJAGO.

Included in LEGO Timelines is a focus on the evolution of the humble minifigure over the decades, the largest LEGO sets ever released and a look at how models are made. In addition to the updated release date, DK has also added images of new interior spreads to its existing Amazon listing.

The pages feature such in-depth content as Christmas-themed LEGO sets from 1977 to 2022, the development of the LEGO wheel from the 1960s to the present day, a close-up look at last year’s 10326 Natural History Museum and a spotlight on a selection of LEGO Modular Buildings.

LEGO Timelines will be priced at £25 in the UK, with Amazon currently offering its customers a £2 discount with pre-orders that are placed before October 24.
