Cosy co-op game LEGO Voyagers arrives on consoles and PC today

The brand new co-op video game LEGO Voyagers launches across consoles and PC today, marking the latest release from the developers behind LEGO Builder’s Journey.

Available from today (September 15) on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, the Epic Games Store and Steam, LEGO Voyagers is a two-player puzzle-platform game that sees a pair of humble 1x1 LEGO bricks attempting to rescue an abandoned ship. Players must work together to solve puzzles and build objects to traverse the environment.

It’s the brainchild of Light Brick Studios, the developers behind 2019’s LEGO Builder’s Journey, another puzzle-oriented title that originally debuted on Apple Arcade before heading to consoles in 2021 and 2022. LEGO Voyagers looks to maintain the same level-based gameplay, atmospheric music and overall cosy feel as its predecessor, only this time through a co-operative lens.

The player characters – those individual bricks – are deliberately minimalistic, putting the focus instead on what publisher Annapurna Interactive describes as a ‘poetic, non-verbal narrative’ that allows players to ‘experience what it feels like to be a LEGO brick’. Early reactions to the game were generally positive, championing its authentic LEGO vibes and fun unpredictability.

You’ll be able to check it out for yourself from today once it’s live in your region. At the time of writing, LEGO Voyagers is due to unlock on Steam in the UK in ‘approximately two hours’, so around 2pm BST. It's listed on the Nintendo eShop for £19.99, so expect it to retail for around that price across other platforms too.
