A full trailer for LEGO Fortnite Odyssey’s huge NINJAGO: Rise of the Ninja update has dropped, revealing when the new gaming content will go live.
LEGO Fortnite Odyssey will be getting a massive free update this week, when NINJAGO: Rise of the Ninja launches on December 11, ahead of the theme celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2026. The next era of the LEGO Fortnite game mode will bring with it new elemental abilities, outfits, weapons, builds, premium rewards and much more, some of which have been revealed in a full video for the update.
NINJAGO: Rise of the Ninja will begin at the Monastery on NINJAGO island, essentially a home base for your character, before you’re then sent on a journey around the map to the Ice, Lightning and Earth sanctums. Players will learn to master new abilities at each location in order to prepare for an epic battle to come and defend the land from fierce invading monsters.
The upcoming LEGO Fortnite Odyssey content will also allow gamers to take up the art of Spinjitzu using a Spinjitzu Scroll, as well as battle multiple challenging enemies using the new Nunchucks and Shuikens weapons.
In addition, players who purchase the NINJAGO LEGO pass will automatically unlock the Kai outfit, with the skin available as a full-size human version in Fortnite’s non-LEGO game modes, alongside Jay, Zane and Cole. What’s more, the paid-for pass comes with three builds as premium rewards, with free and premium Décor Bundles available too.
This week's LEGO NINJAGO content is the first major update for the Fortnite game mode since 2024, with the story confirmed to be continuing with a second NINJAGO update sometime in 2026.
