Rumoured LEGO Harry Potter sets will both feature large minifigure casts

Two rumoured LEGO Harry Potter sets are believed to both include a large number of minifigures, according to online reports.

We've already seen reports of a new brick-built version of the Weasleys' joke shops and the Hogwarts Express. Now, according to 1414FalconFan on Instagram, two rumoured LEGO Harry Potter sets will both have large minifigure casts. 76422 Diagon Alley: Weasleys’ Wizarding Wheezes and 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station are believed to feature seven and eight minifigures each. While there's no word on which characters will be featured, we can place a few safe bets.

76422 Diagon Alley: Weasleys’ Wizarding Wheezes will surely include Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fred, and George as the first five of its seven minifigure line-up. The final two could be filled by any Hogwarts student or the Weasley family. We would assume 76422 would be set around Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince era, rather than the darker and run-down state we see it in the seventh and eighth movies, so any member of the Weasley family would also make sense.

Some highlights to commemorate from the films could be Lavender Brown (who has only appeared in one other LEGO Harry Potter set – 75969 Hogwarts Astronomy Tower) and could do with some more attention) when she first makes romantic googly eyes at Ron. Special mention also goes to Ginny Weasley and her Pygmy Puffs.

For 76423 Hogwarts Express & Hogsmeade Station, the Golden Trio will surely also appear. Considering that the train will come with Hogsmeade Station (rather than Kings Cross), we would assume the other five minifigures will focus on fellow students and teachers, rather than family members. If we were betting, we would go for Hagrid, Draco, Zabini, Neville, and Luna Lovegood.
