If you’re in the US, don’t forget to dial in today for your chance to speak to Mark Hamill about LEGO Star Wars SMART Play.
The LEGO Group announced earlier this week that it’s teamed up with Mark Hamill as part of its SMART Play marketing bonanza, and is giving fans the chance to join a video call with the Luke Skywalker actor today (April 8). All you need to do is call 1-877-80-ASK-MARK between 9am and 5pm PT / 12pm and 8pm ET. Most fans will hear Hamill relay trivia about the sets, but a lucky few will get to talk to him live.
Hamill has a new job title as part of the gig, Junior Executive Director of Information (J.E.D.I.), and is the second Star Wars actor to get involved in SMART Play following Anthony Daniels’ appearance at Nuremberg Toy Fair in January. The LEGO Group’s marketing budget for its new tech-focused sets, which debuted in March under the LEGO Star Wars banner, is presumably galaxy-sized.
