Star Wars series The Mandalorian cast announced

Lucasfilm has announced the cast of the new Star Wars television series, The Mandalorian. Pedro Pascal will lead the cast of the first Star Wars live action series, The Mandalorian. Lucasfilm has officially announced the cast of the new series that will air on Disney+ next year. The actor has appeared in Narcos and Game of Thrones, and will play the titular character in the new show. Here is the rest of the cast, as announced at StarWars.com:

He is joined by Gina Carano (Deadpool), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Carl Weathers (Predator), Omid Abtahi (American Gods), Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), and Nick Nolte (Affliction).

“We’re having a great time working with this incredibly talented group and excited for everyone to see what we’re up to,” said Executive Producer Jon Favreau. Jon Favreau is writing and executive producing the series, aptly as he voiced Mandalorian extremist Pre Visla in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Dave Filoni, the Lucasfilm Animation expert, will direct the first episode of the series. Other talent taking up the directorial reigns during the 10 episode run includes Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok). Along with Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson will executive produce the series and Karen Gilchrist will serve as co-executive producer.
