With the reveal of 10299 Santiago Bernabéu – Real Madrid, the list of the biggest LEGO sets of all time needs some rearranging for the new model.
The LEGO Group continues to surpass their records following the reveal of 10299 Santiago Bernabéu – Real Madrid as the latest LEGO for Adults build has slotted itself neatly into the list of biggest models ever released.
To help you keep track of all the enormous creations, here are the 10 largest LEGO sets designed so far, including one that was re-released to technically bring the total up to 11 builds.
10 – Harry Potter 75978 Diagon Alley

For most LEGO themes, 5,544 elements would put that set as easily the biggest in the range. However, LEGO Harry Potter's
9 – NINJAGO 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens

From the second-largest Harry Potter build to the biggest in LEGO NINJAGO,
8 – LEGO for Adults 10299 Santiago Bernabéu – Real Madrid

The latest model on this list has only recently been revealed. 10299 Santiago Bernabéu – Real Madrid is the newest stadium recreation in the LEGO for Adults recreation and depicts the playing grounds for Real Madrid CF that is currently under extensive renovation. Sitting at 5,876 pieces, the new LEGO stadium is available from March 1 for £309.99 / $349.99 / €349.99.
7 – LEGO Creator Expert 10189 / 10256 Taj Mahal

Technically this is two sets, but due to their identical builds and single-piece difference, we're putting both 10189 Taj Mahal from 2008 and 10256 Taj Mahal from 2017 in the seventh spot on this list. The builds each included 5,922 bricks, with one brick separator also included in the 2017 version bringing the total to 5,923. However, both transformed the world wonder into bricks with an intricate design that is sure to be a talking point.
6 – Harry Potter 71043 Hogwarts Castle

Based on the fictional school of witchcraft and wizardry, 71043 Hogwarts Castle is the biggest LEGO Harry Potter set ever released at 6,020 elements. For the price of $399.99, £369.99, €419.99, you'll be getting plenty of microfigures to populate the miniature halls of Hogwarts Castle and four exclusive minifigures representing the Hogwarts founders, not to mention additional builds for the boats, Hagrid's Hut and the Whomping Willow.
5 – Star Wars 75313 AT-AT

Very few LEGO sets can be labelled as large as a small dog, but 75313 AT-AT fulfils that role in the current LEGO catalogue with a staggering piece count of 6,785. As a minifigure-scale recreation of the Star Wars walker, making the model any smaller would likely have been a challenge but the size of the build allows it to feature functions such as poseable and sturdy legs, recoiling cannons and a full interior complete with space for speeder bikes.
4 – Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon

Also from a galaxy far, far away is
3 – LEGO for Adults 10276 Colosseum

Also once holding the title of biggest LEGO set was
2 – LEGO for Adults 10294 Titanic

10294 Titanic isn't quite the biggest build of all time but still features a huge selection of bricks at a total of 9,090. Based on the ship of the same name, the LEGO designers have taken care to faithfully recreate the icon of engineering with functional details that ship enthusiasts will recognise, including working engines and a look at the classic interior at the cross-sections.
1 – LEGO Art 31203 World Map

At 11,695 pieces, 31203 World Map is still the biggest LEGO set ever released thanks to the vast majority of single-stud elements that make up the LEGO Art mosaics. We've yet to see a model that knocks 31203 World Map off the top of this list as the model continues to be available, whether you've got an empty spot on your walls or are looking to plan your bucket list of future trips.
