TMNT, Treasure Planet, Gravity Falls and more join LEGO Ideas review

The LEGO Ideas second 2025 review is nearing triple digits with more projects joining the fray from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Gravity Falls.

With over a month left before the end of the second 2025 review's entry acceptance stage, it's looking increasingly likely that we'll have over 100 models in this latest round as LEGO Ideas continues to surge in popularity.

Since our last update, seven builds have joined the review round to bring the total from 74 projects to 81, and more are nearing the coveted 10,000 supporters. Here's a guide to what has made it in into the review over the last 24 hours.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga!

P.D.G has a second submission in the latest review round, offering a stylish display set for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's a clever build to capitalise on the nostalgia of older fans with a disposable income, and the build is impressive, not only for the fact that the van can be detached from the model and used separately.

With eight minifigures, this build joins a packed review round, and it follows a heft Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme that has since been retired.

Treasure Planet: Captain Flint’s Pirate Spaceship

Treasure Planet is one of Disney's lesser-known movies, but it's currently having its day in the sun on LEGO Ideas thanks to the work of Masterbuilder Grant and 10,000 supporters. This is their first model to reach the required number of supporters, and recreates the futuristic pirate ship from the animated movie.

With the occasional return to LEGO Pirates through one-off nostalgic models and the upcoming One Piece theme, a Treasure Planet set doesn't seem too far-fetched, though it's not exactly a high-profile film in Disney's catalogue.

Video Home System

LEGO Ideas and the wider portfolio have a history of object recreations and at least one more on the way, thanks to a new challenge, and Polar-Angel_UA is hoping to capitalise on that success. They've pitched a recreation of a Video Home System, complete with VHS tapes, to dive into a different kind of nostalgia.

This 2,575-piece model includes three tapes, a remote, cases for the tapes and the important VHS player itself. It would certainly be a build aimed at older fans as these devices are all but defunct.

Great Minds in Science

After their success with 21355 The Evolution of STEM, ZeusBricks is switching back to education with the latest project to reach 10,000 supporters, after more success just yesterday with a proposed Shrek build.

This time, they're focusing on six of the greatest minds in history, including Leonardo da Vinci, Rosalind Franklin, Alan Turing, Florence Nightingale, Albert Einstein and George Robert Carruthers. Each minifigure has a matching diorama model.

Open Up the Door

There's another music build in the second 2025 LEGO Ideas review with ErfinderEdlerBenny's homage to the album cover for Billie Eilish's Hit Me Hard and Soft. It depicts a door that can be opened up to reveal three scenes from three of Billie's music videos.

LEGO Ideas has a small but significant history of successful music-based projects, but whether this build will open up any further doors on LEGO Ideas has yet to be seen.

Gravity Falls - Mystery Shack

The LEGO Ideas community simply cannot help but demand an official Gravity Falls set. A second Mystery Shack recreation is now in the second 2025 review from Didymos, and it's the latest in a long line of Gravity Falls builds.

None of them have been approved so far, and this one sticks to the familiar formula of including the shack with an interior, the totem pole, the gold cart and more builds to reference various episodes of the Disney animated series.

Black-Faced Spoonbill

From various licenses to real people, bricks.life.idea's Black-Faced Spoonbill build rounds out this LEGO Ideas report with a nature-focused model. The bird recreation is intricately detailed using a mix of System and Technic elements, and a minifigure in a camouflaged hideout joins the bird, which we can hope is using some forced perspective.
