Win a big bonsai in the latest LEGO VIP sweepstakes

A special LEGO VIP Weekend sweepstakes has begun with a chance to win one of two massive bonsai tree models up for grabs.

Inspired by LEGO Botanical Collection 10281 Bonsai Tree, the VIP rewards centre is being included in the VIP Weekend activities with a variety of discounts and opportunities to be had. These include the exclusive vintage camera recreation and sales on existing rewards with a different variety on Saturday and Sunday, but also a special sweepstakes to enter.

The limited-time sweepstakes ends on December 12 but has started for LEGO VIP members now in time for the annual event. For 50 points per entry, you can be in with a chance of winning a 55cm-high brick-built bonsai tree that images 10281 Bonsai Tree at a larger scale.

This collectable item is one of two to exist with an equal amount of winners being chosen for the competition. While entries cost 50 points each, a total of 1,000 can be entered per member. A perfect option if you happen to have 50,000 points waiting to be spent.

With 18 entries able to redeem at a time, that means you'd need to repeatedly select the maximum amount of submissions 55 times and then a final time to use up your remaining credit.

For those who have the points but would prefer to spend them another way, 50,000 points is just enough to earn you £325 off your next purchase. For that discount, you could almost get 75309 Republic Gunship (review) for free.
