LEGO introduces another minifigure and first mini-doll with vitiligo

It was only last month that the LEGO Group debuted the first minifigure with vitiligo but already, two more have been spotted in 2023 sets.

21337 Table Football, 41729 Organic Grocery Store and 21244 The Sword Outpost have something in common, one of their minifigures or mini-dolls has vitiligo. The skin condition was first featured on a LEGO minifigure in the LEGO Ideas set when it first launched in November 2022

In 21337 Table Football, it's in the form of a head that can be interchanged between teams, hairpieces and more. In 41729 Organic Grocery Store, Jordin takes it one step further with detailed printing on the left arm representing the condition and in 21244 The Sword Outpost, the Sentinel Soldier has a different skin colour on each arm and hand as well as a pixelated design on the head.

With these three minifigures and mini-doll, most of the LEGO Group's figure designs now have a character with vitiligo, expanding the diversity of these ranges and allowing more fans to see themselves in the minifigures.

All that's left is for DUPLO to introduce a figure with vitiligo and every kind of LEGO figure will have represented the condition. These minifigures are just some of the diverse minifigures included in recent sets, including the main character Autumn and more in the relaunch of LEGO Friends.
